Congratulations! I'm sure you're going to love it. I assume you'll keep working during school, right?

Thanks, guys! (And Pam--I only rock because of YOU. Because. You know. You rock and therefore my association with you has caused me to rock as well?)

And Christian, yep--I do plan on working through the school year. Ideally, if everything works out with this position (i.e. if they like me and I like them) I'll try to see if I can stay on pretty much the whole time I'm at Simmons. We'll see.

I tried sending you a Text Message with a picture of happy dancing people, but my phone refused to put in the letters I want it to. It just ends up looking like gibberish.

In any case, CONGRATS!!! I'm so happy for you! *does the happy Beth-got-the-job dance*

Beth, This is Mom, on Jo's account, because my account is being glitchy, and I did not want to wait to post. In fact, I finally got to be the one on the computer this morning at all. I had to get up several hours before the competition, but here I am. You know, because we talked on the phone several times yesterday, how happy I am for you. I also feel overwhelmed and humbled by the convergence of BIG EVENTS that happened yesterday in our family. I am so acutely aware of how intimately the Lord is involved in our lives. I feel that deep, reverential kind of gratitude right now that is sweet and tender and humbling. Can't wait to hear how your orientation goes today. We'll talk later. Love, Mom

Joyous Chortling.
"Mommy, why are you laughing?" (this is Morgan)
Sometimes a really happy laugh is the only suitable expression of deep satisfaction.
I love it when good things happen to good people.
