I needs your help

Okay, y'all. I wanted to keep this a secret, but I'm planning something extraordinary for the 1,000th hit to my blog. (Well, maybe 'extraordinary' is an overstatement, but still...)

AND, I need your help. Please post a comment to this entry to tell me what your two favorite ice cream flavors are. If you don't tell me, I'm going to have to guess, and I could very well get it wrong, which would be a TOTAL tragedy. So post a comment!

That is all.

(Hope your days are going well and all that.)

Coffee. Especially coffee with chocolate chips.

And the ice cream I haven't had in almost 20 years, but still remember, from High's Dairy: Chesapeake Bay Berry Ripple

Oooooh. Delish, esp. the Chesapeake Bay Berry Ripple. Anything with "Chesapeake Bay" in the name HAS to be amazingly good. (Especially when combined with the words "Berry" and "Ripple.") I find myself longing for that ice cream.... :^)

Okay--come on, yous guys. I know more of you have been here. Post away!

Okay--let me try a different approach. My two favorite ice cream flavors are:

Strawberry
Mint & Chip (with flaky, not chunky chips)

Okay. NOW, it's your turn! :^D

Just got back in town, or I would have replied sooner.

I'm totally with you on the Mint Chip thing, and the kinds with flaky chocolate are indeed superior to the chip types. Breyers once also produced a delightful incarnation of this called Mint Oreo, but alas, I have not seen it for a while.

As for a second favorite, it depends on my mood. My answer could vary from "Anything with chocolate," to "Rainbow sherbet."

Ah, of course. This is the season to be out of town, after all.

Good! I'll put you down for a mint & chip as well, and I'll try to decide on how to do the chocolate/rainbow sherbet thing. :^)

Mint cookies and cream courtesy of the Creamery...ooohhhh...I miss ice cream runs to the Creamery! :) My other favorite has to be Cherry Garcia from Ben and Jerry's. Those two guys are my heroes! Emily

Thank you! And, may I say, those are extremely delicious choices. :^D

I love Mint Oreo as well...and when I can't find that...I like the Girl Scout Cookie-Thin mint stuff. Yum! Rocky Road (from the creamery) is good too. I've discovered however that it is the ONLY good Rocky Road in the world. I'm so excited to find out what your 1,000 hit bonanza is going to be. Are you going to beam us all our favoite kind of ice cream like in Willy Wonka?!

I hope so, cuz an ice cream party in Utah would be kinda anticlimactic for a Californian. Oh well--guess it's my own darn fault I moved so far from the coolest people on Earth. And from the only good Rocky Road on the planet. What was I thinking?

Maybe I can convince Phillip to ditch USC and transfer to BYU. Think I'll try that after I finish teaching my African violet to dance.

No, silly Pam, I'm not going to beam ice cream over to you guys. Hahaha! No, since I work in a place that makes UPS shipments daily, I figured I'd just pack up a cone or two for each of you & ship it out! Whaddya think??? Maybe if I stick in one of those blue ice packs too.... Hm....

And Kim, those are some smooth moves your African Violet is making. I told mine about it, and it's been distinctly swaying recently...
