What, did you expect something deep? Well, you'll just have to satisfy yourself with hunkering down for some of my day-to-day ramblings. Cheers!

Okay--didn't somebody out there have something to say?
Hmmmmm????? Cathy???? Care to update everybody?
This is me, saying here's my little piece of framework...please feel free to post what's been going on with ya! (And PLEASE tell me how Ed's trip went! (Which I guess is one & the same thing...))
Sorry folks. The past few days have been a smidgeon nuts. Here goes. We're moving. To Chicago. In less than three weeks. Airplane regulations won't allow me to fly after I'm 36 weeks pregnant, so we have to go quickly or wait until after the baby comes, and the feeling is we should go now. Not only is Ed's job offer highly advantageous and more in line with his skills and interests, it has been more than a month since the spiritual answer came, and we know the Lord wants us there. We've just had to wait for all the details to be worked out. Even now, we still don't have an offer letter physically put together and delivered to us, but we do have a start date: October 9th. We're trying to calm our fears and all our objections to big cities, and just trust in our Father in Heaven and know that there's reason for the sudden huge change. Please pray for us and also keep us posted on your lives, because right now I have two competing desires--that of continuously blabbing about our lives until somehow it sinks in emotionally and becomes less scary, and that of talking about something else...anything else...so that my brain can stop for a while. We're also going to make an offer on a home in Chicago, sight unseen, within the next two days...and I need to get moving estimates asap,,,and I need to have cavities filled...talk with insurance companies about transfer of insurance...get our cat to the vet for shots and hopefully to be given a clean bill of health...sell or rent our home...do visiting teaching...spend time with friends and family...schedule a frontal lobotomy...visit favorite places one last time...sleeep, eat, breathe, and care for Morgan and Ed. Like I said, please pray for us.
Hoorah! The offer came through! :^) (Sorry to kind of force this confession on you, btw.) Cathy, of course we'll all be praying for you, and I definitely hope to be one of those friends who gets to spend time with you. Good luck, & God bless you. :^)
Wow Cathy!!! Congratulations! What a terrific opportunity to experience something and someplace new. Good luck in accomplishing all of the things on your list...except for the lobotomy of course. :) Good luck with everything. And congratulations again!
Congrats on your adventure, Cathy. While big, sudden changes are always a little disconcerting, it's wonderful to know you're going someplace the Lord wants you to be. We love you, and we'll pray for you. And Ed. And Morgan. And the kitty. :)

The suspense is terrible. I hope it lasts.
P.S. That was Willy Wonka talking. Myself, I'm pretty anxious to hear the news.
