Almost a blog post

Is there a book out there that's just about people who were almost President of the United States?

Because those would be some interesting stories, I think.

Really, people.

Get to it.

what do you mean "almost"? Almost like Al Gore and Dewey? Or almost like Henry Clay's "I'll run 15 times if I have to!" Or something all together different?

Precision, precision.

Hmmm...can't think of an ALMOST president book....but I do know of a fabulous ACTUAL presidents book. It's called "So You Want To Be President?" by Judith St. George:

http://www.amazon.com/You-Want-President-Revised-Updated/dp/0399243178/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1200059964&sr=8-2

(I hope you get that link...if not, you can look it up yourself...it's truly fabulous. In the meantime, I really need to somehow learn how to link things using html language...)

Blast. I'm never good at precision. (I think it's one reason why I'm so bad at explaining things.)

I meant "almost" like Al Gore and Dewey: the ones who got really close. And. Or. I dunno. Maybe Henry Clay would be interesting too.

And Lindsay, I've been thinking lately that there are a heck of a lot of presidents I know nothing about. So excellent suggestion. :)
