Hooray for lists! I think you have num. 1 down. I loves you. *hug*
I am all over the idea of a list that can actually get done. May I just add a few more for you, ones that (as the famous Mr. D. used to say) are a "piece of cake."
1. Be amazingly articulate on paper and in personal conversation
2. Have beautiful hazel/brown eyes
3. Write soul-piercing poetry
4. Exude graciousness and kindness to loved ones and to strangers alike
5. Remember how beloved I am to the people in my life.
I know that you can cross those five of your list, Beth, because they are not just things that you already do, they are things that you already are.
Love, Mama
PS And now you can be in on the splendid little secret no one has told you about: The thirties are FABULOUS!
31. Practice blowing out 30 candles. They're waiting for you!
P.S. (Shades of an old post of yours and a picture that came from it) What's your favorite kind of ice cream? Cake?
I say you can skip #26 if you want to. And you didn't have to remind ME that your birthday is comin'.
Hey, NG, it's more difficult than it sounds. I'm not all that coordinated.
Thanks, Mom. Lots. And lots more. Even though I don't fully deserve it. :)
Cathy, chocolate anything is good.
And Jo, should I NOT run then? :)
Happy Birthday!
(And your mom is right, the 30's are the BEST!)
Love your list!
Umm... am I allowed to say that I was giggling uncontrollably while reading this list?
Happy Berfday. Enjoy wiggling your toes.
